As Lead Sustainability for Livework studio, I try to be at the forefront of the service design x sustainability field. My role? Pushing Livework and our clients to go beyond carbon measuring & reporting and onto real transformation. That means co-creating and facilitating change and designing products, services and organisations for a regenerative future.
Sustainability is often seen as a technical or economic challenge. I think it is first and foremost a human challenge. A design challenge. The future emerges directly from the things we design. We have to design ecological.
I will never claim to have all the answers. I’m constantly trying to learn, always prototyping some of our latest thinking in collaboration with our clients. Currently, my curiosity focuses on post-growth businesses, unlocking circularity, system-oriented design and innovation in a VUCA world.
As Lead Sustainability for Livework, Anna coordinates across clients and projects to ensure our designers structurally update their mental models, approach and toolset to integrate the ecological perspective.
As a pragmatic environmentalist, she draws from over 6 years of experience in complex service/system innovation projects and transformation programs at companies like JPMorgan and Adidas. She leverages this background to work as a catalyst 0f change for the better.
