My role at Livework is centered on developing structures and capacity for innovation and designing new highly relevant experiences for customers and new business models for organizations. I believe that Service Design is an approach capable of translating the concept of innovation into a day-to-day practice for teams and organizations of all sectors, dimensions and profiles.
Rafael has 13 years of experience as an executive in the financial services industry. He structured and led the first Design-driven Innovation practice in Brazil at Itaú-Unibanco. For the last 10 years, he has been an entrepreneur, angel investor and mentor in several startups, including Neemu, acquired by Linx in 2015. Since 2015 he has been a partner at Livework Brasil. Graduated in Production Engineering from UFRJ, he has a Masters in Finance and Economics from FGV-RJ and an MBA from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley.
